In a few hours we are heading over to The Mill's for a BBQ to celebrate Jacob's 14th birthday!! I am in utter disbelief that he is turning 14. Time has certainly gone by so fast. I can still remember him as a toddler. I haven't taken any pictures of Bean recently since all has been so crazy here, VBS, Jim's Business Trip, preparing both mentally and spiritually for KIM and MOPS for the fall. Preparing lessons for my MOPS children. So here is a "recent" pic for you all to see. I hope to get better about this soon. Daddy's Home

YEAH, Jim came home last night from his 4 day business trip out in Seatle and I am so happy to have him home, but I think that Elizabeth is even more glad to have her daddy home. Don't have any pictures to post right now....be back later, going to go spend time with the 2 of them.

The Circle G Ranch...YEEEEHAW!

Hi everyone! Just woke up from a much needed nap, Elizabeth is still napping so I thought that I would do a quick journal entry.

Today was the 2nd day of Vacation Bible School. The theme this year is "The Circle G Ranch, where God is at the center and his love (the circle) is never ending." I am a shepherd to the children who are going into 1st grade this year. Boy are they an active bunch! Yesterday, not only did I discover that I am allergic to HAY!! but I also learned that I have to get my 8 hours of sleep each night to get through the 3 1/2 hours with the kids. Did I mention how active they are? And when they get excited it is hard to get them quiet again. Us leaders are getting there, today went much better than yesterday. I am having a lot of fun and learning a lot myself.

When I came home yesterday, I was hoping that Elizabeth would have been so tired she would have taken a nap....nope. But I still had her do an hour of quiet time because I had a mega-migraine when I got home yesterday from all the yelling and the hay. I still have some remnants of the migraine, and a dopey feeling from the medication, and the fact that Elizabeth took a nap today helped me too. She is in the nursery at the church while I am with the kids. She seems to be having as much fun as I am. The whole way home she tells me, "Mommy I played with Sophia and JT....at church" or just "Mommy I go to church today" It is so cute, she will be lost next week when we aren't going every day. But then again she might just be as happy as me to get back into our little routine that we have.

Today Pastor Michael came up to me in the morning and we talked about the KIM program that I am involved with and how he was glad that I was doing it every Sunday. I guess he had thouught that I was just helping out every once in awhile. I told him that the kids at church are my kids so to speak and I love every minute of it. It gets hectic at times, but I wouldn't give it up at all. God has blessed me with all the children that I come into contact with.

Well, I guess I am off to take a Claritin...darn hay!!!

Here is one last one, daddy came over last Monday after work for his birthday and Elizabeth and I got him a cake and an Elmo balloon. So I took a pic of daddy blowing out the candles. I think he had a nice birthday.

K-I-S-S-I-N-G

I know that I wrote earlier that I would write more about our visit with our friends, but it is late and I have got to get some rest. So in the mean time, here is a picture of Dakota and Elizabeth at the zoo on Thursday (yesterday) giving eachother a kiss. They are just so precious together, I think that they actually miss eachother. Elizabeth woke up asking for Dakota this morning and I told her he was in Mississippi, she paused asked for Tish and Kim and when I told her that they were in Mississippi too, she looked at me and said, "I go Mississippi" It about broke my heart. So I am planning a trip up there in the next month so that they don't forget eachother. And I miss Tish and I can't imagine waiting another year to see her again. Must go and sleep, maybe if there is no lightening tomorrow I will be able to get on here and post pictures from the past 10 days.

10 Awesome Days!!!

Yawn....just waiting for Jim to come home from lunch, I can't believe it has been almost a month since I have added pictures here. I am such a slacker. Actually we spent the last 10 days with our good friends from Mississippi. It went way too fast!! I missed them as soon as they drove down the street, shoot, even before they got into the car. It was just a really awesome visit. I will post details maybe later tonight. Here is a picture of all of us girls together last night when they left.
