Pop Pop came over after work today to carve our pumpkins (I suck at that!) and Elizabeth painted her little one. Look at those looks of concentration!

Elizabeth this morning before we left to go to our MOPS meeting. We went to the meeting then left early so that she could make her art class. She really likes playing with the other kids from our steering committee.

Yesterday after we had a unexpected, unplanned nice afternoon, I took Bean to get a princess dress at Walmart. We picked up a few other things too, she is spoiled!

Good afternoon all! I can't believe that I haven't posted in so long. Well, tonight I will have to make up for it. Just fooling around this morning and found this on someone elses blog and thought I would share......It is going to be a great day!!!

Elizabeth in the sink cleaning herself off from all of the paint. I think she got more on her hands than she did on the bird house. She is just so full of life! I look back on this morning and smile really big. We really had a great time together.

Is there such thing as a normal day?

This will be the part one........

So I haven't been feeling that great the past few days, allergies. But I started wheezing and was up all night coughing on Tuesday. So on Wednesday, Jim came home early and took Bean to her doctor to get her flu shot and I went up to the local walk-in clinic to see if they could do anything for my cough. So I have bronchitis, but not in the way that you need antibiotics. I am on mega steriods, an inhaler, and cough medication at night. I am so spun up and aggitated by the steriods. They so kindly gave me a shot in my "upper hip" of them as well in the office. I am feeling much better today, resting.

Elizabeth and I did our errands this morning. We went up to the Super Target to get some last minute things for MOPS and ended up getting her Claribelle, Annie, Henry, and Toby since they had all their Thomas stuff 10% off. Then we went up to the Rag Shop to get what I couldn't find at Super Target. We picked up a bird house for Bean to paint as well.

When we got home, I must say that we have had a great early afternoon together! It started raining when we got home so Elizabeth and I went out front and ran in the rain and splashed eachother! She had a blast and so did I. I figured, shoot, I am already sick, what do I have to loose? It was worth it!!! The we came in and got all dryed off and worked on her bird house. She ended up IN the kitchen sink when I went to clean her up. It was hilarious!! I took a few pictures that I will post later..............let's see.....then we at Ramen noodles for lunch and she got them everywhere so I took her in the back yard and hosed her off. She was cracking up!!!! Then we came back inside and got dressed, put clothes away, started laundry, and now we are just chilling out until nap time.

So far today just has been a great day!!! I promise to post pictures later!!!

Back....

Well, today was not as busy as I had first anticipated. We had Kindermusik, played there until almost noon, came home and Jim picked up Atlanta Bread Co for lunch so I got to eat my yummy tuna sandwich on 9 grain. After Jim left, Elizabeth watched Dora for a little while then we both went down for a nap. Then we left about 4:20 to pick up Sis from work.

Right now I am just waiting for the pizza to get out of the oven. I was originally going to make lasagna, but I ran out of time so pizza is the next best thing that was pretty quick that I could come up with.

Tomorrow I am thinking about taking Elizabeth to Story Time at the library. She really enjoys it and it is teaching her to sit still, then if we go we have to leave straight from there to pick up Sis to take her to the DMV to get her liscence. After that we will see, it all depends on what time we get back home.

This past weekend was fairly busy. The best part was last night when we went over to our friend Leslie's house and had a delicious dinner. Oh, we also got a good deal on a used train table for Elizabeth and now we just have to get it all put together.

All right, the timer is ringing on the oven so I guess that means we have dinner now.....maybe more later.

Just another manic monday

Happy Monday! Off to Kindermusik, once again, not watching the time before I start a post. I will hopefully post later today if I get a free moment...got a very,very busy week coming up.
