My New Car

Well, we traded in my Impala on Tuesday and Jim got me a 2006 Saturn Vue. I am so in love with it. It rides so nice and it feels good to be sitting up a bit higher. I miss my Impala but I can totally live with this ;)

We got a good trade in value for the Impala which made me happy. Next Thursday they are having a car clinic to show all new car owners the features of their particular model and how to change a flat tire. I might go, haven't decided yet. 

Elizabeth on the Swings

The weather has been so nice the past few weeks that we have been playing outside a lot. She loves her swings and you could push her for hours and she keep telling you Higher!!! You can't see them, but she was wearing her shiny black "church" shoes that she calls her Tapping Shoes to play outside in. Thank goodness baby wipes will shine anything back :) 

My Gorgeous Hubby

Pic of my handsome hubby. We went out Sunday to buy suits for his business trip. I am so glad that he doesn't have to wear a suit everyday, we would go broke! But he got 2 really nice ones. Isn't he gorgeous?

Elizabeth on Valentine's Day

Daddy surprised Elizabeth with a box of her very own chocolates on Valentines day this year. She is just like her mommy.....I went to get a piece after she had gone to bed, and she bit into each one and the ones that she didn't like were in the box half eaten. I had to giggle to myself when I saw that.

All bundled up and ready to go out in the back yard and play. At least when we visit Mississippi we get to dress Elizabeth in layers. Of course we didn't have a jacket for her, so Dakota shared his warm clothes with her. Gotta love the hat and mittens...great deal at Old Navy a few weeks before we flew out there. Hopefully she will be able to wear them again next year.

Santa brought Dakota a John Deere tractor which he so kindly shared very well with Elizabeth. We have this on video tape. Whenever Elizabeth would make a turn, the back would flip and Dakota would fall out. Then Elizabeth would look back at him and give him this look like "Get back in there!" it was precious.

I love this picture of the two of us taken after she had come in from playing outside with Dakota. She had a blast while we were up there visiting. I hope by now you can tell that these pictures are so out of order. I posted some of them to my flickr account, and I am so bad about dates and such.

Tish's mom made Dakota's birthday cake. It turned out so good that we almost didn't want to cut it up. All the places that are black are chocolate icing, yummy.

Just like in September, Elizabeth would not go down at her normal bedtime. She would just go and go until she finally just stopped. This night she was super tired and Tish picked her up and she was out in under 5 minutes. What can I say, Auntie Tish has the magic touch.

just another random picture from Mississippi. It was so cold while we were up there that Tish actually had a fire going for a few nights. I loved it! I wish that it would get colder down here for more than a couple days sometimes. Just leave the snow up north though, not a big fan of the white stuff.

Here is a pic of me with Elizabeth and Dakota at the Mississippi Museum of Science...or something like that. It was a fun few hours, I want to look into taking her to the one in Orlando this summer. I think she would get a kick out of it, since it is a lot of hands on stuff.

Well, on the Florida board on Ivillage where I hang out, we are doing weekly photo assignments and last week was to post a pic of yourself as a child.

I always knew that Elizabeth looked like me as a child, but I never really saw it until I saw this picture.

I am not sure how old I am in this one but it can't be that much older/younger than Elizabeth is right now.

I am so sorry I haven't been over here posting pictures like I should, I promise to get better. This is a pic that my sis took a couple weeks ago. She is just all grown up now. I can't believe that she is going to be 3 in a couple weeks.

Yesterday we went and registered her for preschool for next year. She will be going 2 mornings a week. I am excited and so is she. She keeps asking me when she is going to school.

Well, off to get ready for bible study this morning. I will post more pictures later tonight.
