What a day

Can you say AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH??

Tuesday I didn't go to my bible study because my friend was getting an MRI...she should know the results...by today. I need to call. But any way, we ended up going to Story Time at the library and Elizabeth had a great time, afterwards we went to the park across the street for a little bit, then we rushed home to meet my daddy. He is leaving Saturday for Georgia for a week so he is trying to see Elizabeth as much as he can.

Wednesday, Elizabeth has been coughing for the past few days, nothing major or contagious, but I wanted to check with her doctor because of her asthma. Well yesterday we had art class, played a bit, then went straight to her doctors office. Seems her allegies are making her asthma act up so she is back on her Pulmicort/Albuterol combo for the next 7 days. So we didn't make it to church on Wednesday night because she woke up screaming from her nap. I think she had a sinus headache....but she screamed for like 30 minutes, it was horrible. She finally put a blanket over her head and quieted herself down which makes me think that the lights were hurting her eyes. Jim and I both get sinus pressure headaches so I think she does too.

She coughed ALL NIGHT....put her to bed at 9pm, she coughed and coughed, gave her an albuterol at 12:30am and she slept for 4 hours then woke up again coughing at around 5am, gave her another treatment and she slept until 8:02am. I thought after a restless night she would have slept in, nope.

So today, I had a filling fall out over a month ago and Tuesday night it started throbbing, so then next day I made an appointment with Jim's dentist...so today I had a filling put in and my mouth is throbbing and hurting right now, at first he thought he was going to have to do a root canal but once he started working on the tooth he thought a filling was the best way to go, but if it continues to bother me then they will have to do a root canal. Do you know how much one of them costs altogther, no insurance??? $1500.00!!!!! I was almost in tears, we don't have that kind of money, so I was rather pleased when it ended up only being $300.00 . Money is real tight right now so even that was a stretch, at least I didn't have to do payment plans as originally expected.

So now I am praying for a nice and quiet rest of the day.....yeah right!!!

Another busy Monday

I just looked at the time and realized that we have Kindermusik in 45 minutes! This morning is going by fast. I was just over at Ivillage posting on a couple boards and thought I would head over here for a quick entry. Our weekend was busy! Saturday, my friend, Amanda, her hubby, and daughter came over to watch Furby Island. It was so cute! Her hubby was one of the animators on the project. You can watch it at www.turbonick.com if you missed it on TV this weekend. Elizabeth actually sat and watched most of it which is a high compliment to Steve! Afterwards, we had pizza and Amanda and I went over to our Creative Memories consultants house to see what she had on sale. We didn't stay long because a) we both didn't really have the money to spend, we just really wanted to see how she was doing, she is 32 1/2 weeks pregnant with IDENTICAL TWINS b) Amanda had to be at work soon. That night my friend from church came over at 8pm and we scrapbooked until almost midnight!

Then Sunday I went to church. Elizabeth still had a runny nose and a little cough, which is more than likely allergies, but I didn't want to leave her in the church nursery with a runny nose. So then we all met up at my in-laws house, I then left early and mowed the lawn before Jim and Elizabeth came home. I am still sore, ouch!

Today we have Kindermusik then my daddy is coming over to see Elizabeth, he hasn't seen her in over a week! She was asking for him all day yesterday, so I called him to make sure that he will come over today to see her.

Well, I guess I had better get her dressed and get ready to leave. Have a good one, and leave some comments all!!!

Eating Tish's yummy fried chicken, it doesn't get any better than her chicken. I have tried to duplicate it, but she has got the magic touch that I don't have. That night I defiantly stuffed myself...I just couldn't stop eating it :)

ok, well, today is going ok so far. I have no clue what is wrong, but I have been in a very aggitated, foul mood for the past few days that I can't seem to come out of. I have no clue what has triggered this, but every little thing irritates me and my daughter is driving me absolutely nuts. I love her and Jim verry much but right now I just feel a slave to them and their lives and mine is just on the back burner. I know I am rambling, right? Get over it Maria, right? You are being a whiney baby, right? My dr has got to get my meds back on track, I have a feeling that some of it is related to a new medication that I have started taking over the past month, I just upped the dose, and it is just messing me up. I think that it is making me gain weight too. So that just really sucks on top of everything else that has been happening, of which, I won't get into on line. not appropriate for the viewing public to read about. Well, here is another pic of Bean in Mississippi....Tish made yummy pizza one night, and let Bean make a pizza of her own....well, she let Bean make a flour mess, so the following few pictures are of her flour mess, she is such a cutie with a beautiful smile, isn't she?

Taken Sept 7th....Elizabeth did not like to go to bed at her normal time, so Tish and I would stay up and scrapbook and Elizabeth would watch tv and play and just finally crash when she wanted to, and when she did, she was OUT! Couldn't resist taking a picture of it.

Taken on September 6th..she is just a cutie. I can't quite remember what we did that day, but I am sure that we went shopping, lol. That was a good past time while we were there, I got to go to a few scrapbooking places. Maybe this was the day we went to Old Navy, etc after Tish's mom treated us to lunch at a yummy Mexican resturant. My memory is only as good as my receipts in my purse....I was going to head out early this morning and go to Walmart before art class but I think that it will have to wait until after...I keep running out of time. The story of my life ;)

Dakota is a definite Thomas the Train fan! And ever since July Elizabeth has been too. She has returned from Mississippi even more "obsessed" than ever. But I just love this picture of Dakota playing with his trains.

Monday was Labor day, we took the kids over to Toys 'R Us in Ridgeland (?) because they were giving away little Thomas mylar balloons. They were so happy, they even each got a Harold the Helicoptor and Elizabeth got a Take and Go Percy. It was a really nice day. We ate lunch at a place called Logans which reminded me of RoadHouse Grill. I had a yummy catfish.

Once again, Tish please leave comments if I have forgotten anything, I am going to use this as my journal so that when I get to scrapbook these pictures I will know what happened on those days.

Sept 4, 2005

This picture was taken on Sept 4th, our first official day in Mississippi. We had lunch/dinner at a place called Mazzio's. And we also just drove around, comment Tish if I am forgetting anything :) So every night Tish or Kim read to Dakota before he goes to bed and Elizabeth always sat in. Then she would come out of Dakota's room with a pile of books and proceed to say "Mommy, read me!" It was cute. Now that we are home, she expects a book to be read to her before she goes to bed now. A nice habit that I am glad that she finally enjoys. We used to sit in her room and read books while she played with her toys and such, or come over and close the book and say "No Daddy" or "No Mommy". Wishy Washy Wishy Washy Wishy Washy WEEEEEEE!! LOL!!

Well, we came home from Mississippi on Thursday. It was an absolutely wonderful trip. I will have to post more later, but I wanted to at least post a pic and let everyone know that we made it back. Due to flight delays, Elizabeth and I ended up with a 6 hour layover in Memphis, TN. That was interesting....not something I would care to relive again. For the most part, I can brag, and say that Elizabeth was truly on her best behavior for those 6 hours. She had a few moments, but we both made the best of the situation. This picture was taken in Tish's car. Dakota ended up being the typical big brother to Elizabeth. He loved to put his leg over on her while they were in their car seats and Elizabeth would get all upset and when he wasn't throwing his let over, he was pointing to her...so Tish figured out a way to separate them in the car and it was paradise from then on. Aren't they just too cute?

MOPS day

Good morning, another beautiful Friday. Elizabeth and I leave for Mississippi tomorrow afternoon. I am pretty excited to be going. Even though gas is expensive and all the crazy hurricane stuff, I am still looking forward to leaving Brevard County for a few weeks. I will try to post pictures while I am over there. Just have to make sure Tish's computer has a USB connection.

Well, today is our 2nd MOPS of the year and I am making a quiche right now and waiting for Bean to wake up. If she isn't up in 10 minutes I am going to have to wake her up since we need to leave the house by 830am to get there on time.

Not too much going on. It has been a busy but uneventful kind of week here at home. Jim has some stress at work right now, but he has been really good about not bringing it home with him (the stress) which makes for a pleasant Watt's house.

I don't have any pictures to post today. But I am sure that there will be plenty real soon!!

Please keep the Gulf Coast in your prayers! I have been reading some horrible things that are happening esp in the New Orleans area. Looting, Rape, Murder, etc. Scarry.....one lady was quoted saying that God was punishing for all of the corruption. Gave me chills because just the other night Jim made a comment about Sodom and Gomorrah (hope that was spelled right)

Good morning! Not much to write about today I guess, of course it is only 8 something in the morning. Yesterday was crazy but it made the day go by so fast. Elizabeth is going to spend a few hours at a friends house to day so that I can get things done for MOPS tomorrow. I have to get the next meeting done as well because I won't be back in town until the night before the next meeting. So I technically have 2 classes to finish by tomorrow. That's ok, it is something that I enjoy doing. Well, off to go and pay probably way too much for gas, but it could always be worse. My prayers have been with the Gulf Coast this week, it just seems to be getting so much worse, esp in New Orleans.....prayer is a very powerful thing, and my prayer is unceasing. For my friends who pray, please continue to do so.....all right, hope everyone has a wonderful day, God bless, and I will post a pic of Elizabeth taken a few days ago. Just ignore to binky, we are working on that.......
