Taken last night....she is just such a princess. She likes to wear the cute nightgowns and this is the only one that fits her now. Oh darn, a reason to go shopping. Well, been over to Amanda's board posting and looked at the time. We have another busy day, but I wanted to post a few pictures of the past few days. This past week has been crazy, someone who I love very much is not doing to good and I am worried about her, but don't know what to do. Off to go to church, active artists and then back to church again today.

The new redheads!! Last Tuesday we decided to dye our hair red after storytime, so here we are at Sophia's 3rd birthday, our red hair and all. Mine doesn't really show up that well, but Manda's does!! I am proud to say that I dyed her hair :)

Ugh, miserable insomnia. I have been laying in bed for the past hour trying to get some sleep, I have given up and will hopefully tire myself out by keeping busy...I don't want to take a sleeping pill since it is already 1am. My mind just will not stop running. At any rate, here is a picture of Bean, not a recent one, but enjoy! It was taken on Jan 1, 2005. Isn't it amazing how fast they grow and change?

Good Morning

Hello! No recent pictures to post...yesterday was a busy day. We went over to Amanda's for breakfast, went to StoryTime at the library (a FREE activity!!), target and bought hair dye, went back to Amanda's, dyed our hair, came home, bean took a nap, i cleaned up, got dressed then at 530 we left to meet Jim, Daddy, and my cousin Glenn (who is visiting from Georgia) up at Carrabbas for a nice dinner. We got back hope and pretty much went to bed. Today we have Active Artists this morning, then Daddy and Glenn might stop by, then we have church tonight. So it will be another busy one. I still have to finish up some stuff for MOPS on Friday too.

Well, Bean is trying to get me off the computer, gotta cruize!!!

3 litte monkeys jumping on the bed......took this one the morning we left. We slept out in the living room, so during the day the kids loved to jump on the bed. I think that Elizabeth had an awesome time up there. I hope that we are able to go up there again and not wait 10 years like this time. Enjoy all of the pictures...there are a ton more, but this is all for now. Off to get the Bean to bed and finish up some of my knitting.

Great Grandma with me and Elizabeth on Sunset Beach. The sand on the beach felt like you were walking on baby powder. I wish we could have had more time to spend there. It didn't smell fishy like the beaches here feel.

Back in Town

Well, we got home yesterday at 4pm. It was a pretty smooth trip back home. I am very glad to be back home and get back into our daily routine, but I hate good byes and miss everyone up in North Carolina. I have some pictures to post, but I have to get them off of the digital camera first. Depending on how I am feeling tonight, I might put some up.

Today starts the fall semester of Kindermusik. The theme is "Wiggles and Giggles" I am excited because You are my Sunshine is one of the songs, and that is one that I sing reguraly to Bean. Wednesday starts 8 weeks of Active Artists and Friday starts the beginnning of the MOPS year. Sigh, it will be busy over the next few months, who ever thinks that Stay at Home moms sit around at home all day, make cookies and go to playdates are sadly mistaken. We have jobs, we just don't get paid for them :)

On the Road Again

Good morning! Well, today we will be on the road back to Florida. I am glad to be going home, but sad a little at the same time. I was joking with Nancy that just when I can get around pretty darn good we head back home. At least I know that I could get back up here without MapQuest.

Yesterday we went to Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach. Jimmy and I went there when it first opened and this year they celebrate their 10 year anniversary. So it was 10 years ago that I had been up here last. Time flies, because it feels like it was just yesterday.

At any rate, off to pack and hopefully be on good ol' HWY 17 around 10 am......

North Carolina

Good evening, just a quickie from North Carolina, all is well, we are aclimating and having a great time. Can't wait to get home, miss my hubby and my friends. But am having a really fun time so it will be a bummer to leave in some ways. At any rate, have pictures, but won't post till I get home, We went out to Old Baldy today. If you do a search on Old Baldy it should take you to the lighthouse. It is a cool island, I think I may retire there. You can only get to the island by ferry boat, no unwelcomed guests. Not that we have that problem in Florda, but I just like the idea of the ferry boat, lol.
Off to give Bean a bath, love to all

Ok, one picture for the road, Elizabeth thinks that her dogs are her personal babies. So Jim was playing around with her and stuck Gizmo in her baby stroller for her to push around. That didn't happen, but the picture is cute. Ok, off to finish up some last minute packing and then off to bed. I will probably be able to check this blog, so leave comments and we can keep in touch through the week that way, sound cool? Awesome, I don't like to be out of touch, at least this way I know that you all are thinking about us, lol!!!!!

Off to good ol' North Carolina for a week starting tomorrow...I won't be able to check my emails while I am there. But I guess that is what a real vacation is, huh? It is just me, Bean, and Nancy. Celebration at the Watts House

I know that in most cases this would be TMI, but Elizabeth pooped and peed on the potty tonight. She has peed before, but never pooped so we had a mini celebration over it. My dad was here visiting and got to share :) I guess this means that she is really ready for potty training and I am all for it, BUT we leave on Sunday for North Carolina and somehow I just don't think that potty training and visiting family will mix. But if she asks, I will take her to the potty, don't want to discourage it completely. At any rate, I am just so excited, and since you guys really come out here to read about Elizabeth, I am sure in some way you will appreciate this awesome news. Just know that I will NEVER announce any other family member bowel movements here, lol.

Tomorrow I have an all day MOPS steering committee meeting to talk about the coming year. I have never been to one, so I am looking forward to it. Then Elizabeth, Nancy, and I leave Sunday morning for NC. Jim has promised to repaint my kitchen and do other improvements that he normally doesn't have time to do. We will see how that went when we get back home...
